ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks with CDEV

ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are engineered to deliver exceptional off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific vehicle in both length and damping tune. A 6061-billet aluminum manifold located below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom outs and control high-velocity compression. These shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, and include the ICON CDEV for electronic, in-vehicle adjustment of compression damping.

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an infinitely variable, electronically controlled valve that meters oil flow to regulate compression damping. It can react in under 40 ms and makes precise adjustments for varying terrain. Hydraulic circuits are custom tailored per application to maximize resolution and dynamic range. When paired with ICON Intelligent Control and the ICON mobile app, inputs from the onboard G-force sensor and gyroscope enable predictive terrain calculations and automatic shock adjustments.
