ICON V.S. 3.0 Series Remote Reservoir CDEV Coilover Conversion Kit

The ICON V.S. 3.0 Series coilover conversion kit adds enhanced performance and adjustability to 2017-2026 F-250 and F-350 pickup trucks. Designed to increase damping capacity while allowing user-defined ride height adjustment, the 3.0 Series provides increased piston surface area, greater oil volume, and improved heat dissipation for better stability and reduced shock fade under hard use. V.S. 3.0 Series shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable. The included CDE Valve (Compression Damping Electronic Valve) enables electronic in-vehicle tuning of compression damping with rapid, precise adjustments for varying terrain.

  • Bolt-in system: fits in OE coil bucket location
  • Coilover conversion: allows for addition of secondary shock
  • Vehicle-specific design: tuned for superior shock damping and control
  • 3.0" body diameter: increased oil volume and larger piston area (50% more piston surface area vs. 2.5 Series)
  • Ride height adjustable: provides approximately 2.5–3" or 3.25–3.75" of lift depending on truck year model
  • Nitrogen charged monotube with remote reservoir: improved heat dissipation to reduce shock fade
  • CDE Valve technology: enables in-vehicle compression damping adjustment and active adjustment via ICON Intelligent Control
  • Premium shock oil: 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range
  • One-piece piston design: linear compression / digressive rebound piston with vehicle-specific valving for balanced on- and off-road performance
  • Durable construction: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft; Cerakoted steel cylinders for corrosion resistance
  • Premium hardware: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC components and FK rod end bearings for longevity and minimal deflection
  • ICON coil springs: guaranteed for life against sagging or breakage
  • Serviceable: fully rebuildable and revalveable
  • CDEV response: infinitely variable valve that can react in less than 40 ms for precise damping changes

Notes

  • Factory wheels & tires fitment: Yes
  • Recommended aftermarket wheels: ICON Alloys 17x8.5" w/ 5.00" backspace / 6mm offset; 18x9" w/ 5.25" backspace / 6mm offset; 20x9" w/ 5.25" backspace / 6mm offset
  • Recommended aftermarket tires: 35" x 12.50" (37" x 12.50" with fender trimming and modifications required)
  • Only fits 4WD models
  • An adjustable track bar is recommended to realign the axle but not required
  • Shocks are fully serviceable. Lift heights indicated are for a stock equipped vehicle
  • Removal of the coil centering cup in the factory coil bucket is required for installation
  • Lift heights based on 4WD Crew Cab diesel
  • Secondary shock options are available; applicable secondary shock and reservoir configurations may require additional hardware
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install
  • Also requires installation of applicable ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) kit and CDEV rear shocks for full system functionality where specified
  • 2005–2019 Super Duty diesel models: front lift height range of approximately 2.5–3" over stock
  • 2020–2022 Super Duty diesel models without Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 3.25–3.75" over stock
  • 2020–2022 Super Duty diesel models with Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 2.25–2.75" over stock
  • 2023–2026 Super Duty diesel models without Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 2.5–3" over stock
  • 2023–2026 Super Duty diesel models with Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 1.5–2" over stock
  • 2023–2026 Super Duty gas models without Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 3–3.5" over stock
  • 2023–2026 Super Duty gas models with Tremor package: front lift height range of approximately 2–2.5" over stock
  • 2005–2016 F-250s may require 4" rear blocks with 15" U-bolt kit to sit level with a 2.5" lifted front; compatible block and U-bolt kits are available
  • Brake line kit is optional for 2017–2026 models for users who prefer not to bend factory steel lines or who want a braided stainless upgrade
  • If installing with ICON 2.5 Series or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shocks, a reservoir doubler kit (part number 611003) may be required
  • Due to tight clearances and varying placement of the vehicle wiring harness in the upper front-passenger wheel well area, ensure adequate clearance between the harness, coilover reservoir, and other components to prevent chafing or damage
