ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks with CDEV

ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with CDEV are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific vehicle application in both length and damping tune. A 6061-billet aluminum manifold located below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone, increasing damping by approximately 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression. These shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, and include the ICON CDEV upgrade for electronic ride tuning from inside the vehicle.

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters oil flow to regulate compression damping. The infinitely variable valve reacts in under 40 ms and delivers precise adjustments for varying terrain. Hydraulic circuits are custom tailored per application for maximum resolution and dynamic range. The system uses ICON Intelligent Control and the ICON mobile app, leveraging onboard G-force and gyroscope sensors with proprietary algorithms to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV.
