ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks
ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are vehicle-specific, length- and damping-tuned monotube shocks engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. These shocks feature ICON’s internal Bump Zone for increased compression control and are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
- Internal Bump Zone: 6061 billet aluminum manifold below the top cap increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote/piggyback reservoir: improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Premium 5WT shock oil: consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube design with piggyback reservoir for consistent performance.
- One-piece digressive piston: vehicle-specific valving for superior on- and off-road ride quality.
- 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC machined components.
- One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders: excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Upgradeable: ICON 2.5 Series piggyback and remote reservoir shocks can be upgraded to ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV).
