ICON Vehicle Dynamics S2 Secondary Shock System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics S2 Secondary Shock System allows installation of a secondary 2.5 Aluminum Series or Omega bypass shock to an existing ICON coilover setup for Toyota Tacoma (2005–2015), Toyota 4Runner (2003–2009) and Toyota FJ Cruiser (2007–2009). Adding a secondary shock doubles the suspension's damping capacity, improving off-road performance and vehicle stability while remaining a more affordable and less complex option than long-travel conversions.

The system uses factory lower control arms and maintains OE track width. Billet aluminum shock tower adapters, fabricated shock hoops, and steel skid plates with integrated shock mounts provide a largely bolt-on installation that avoids major frame or suspension modification. The kit is fully removable and modular, allowing staged upgrades or standalone skid plate protection for the lower control arms.

  • Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle
