ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series

ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off‑road performance while maintaining a smooth on‑road ride. Each shock is configured for specific vehicle applications in both length and damping tune. These shocks are fully serviceable and can be rebuilt or revalved. For piggyback and select remote reservoir applications, a 6061 billet aluminum manifold positioned below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that adds approximately 20% additional damping to help prevent harsh bottom outs and control high‑velocity compression.

• Internal Bump Zone: Increases damping by ~20% to provide more control as the shock approaches full compression.
• Remote reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
• Premium shock oil: Grade 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
• Nitrogen charged monotube: Monotube design with remote reservoir for consistent performance.
• One‑piece digressive piston: Vehicle‑specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on and off road.
• PTFE lined spherical bearings: With application‑specific mounting hardware for durability and smooth operation.
• Hardened shock shaft: 7/8" diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shaft.
• CNC machined components: 6061 aircraft‑grade aluminum construction.

• Upgradeable: All 2.5 Series piggyback and remote reservoir shocks can be upgraded to a Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV).

• Does not fit KDSS equipped vehicles.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma with 5 wheel lug studs.
• Also requires ICON S2 Secondary Shock Hoop Kit and applicable LCA Skid Plate Kit or ICON LCA Kit to complete system.
• May not be compatible with other secondary shock hoops or LCA kits.
