ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5" CDCV Coilover Shocks

The V.S. Series 2.5" remote reservoir coilover shocks are an upgrade for the front end of 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma and 2010–2024 Toyota 4Runner models equipped with long-travel front suspension. Vehicle-specific valving and custom long-travel lengths deliver a sport-tuned feel on- and off-road while providing adjustable front lift: 0–3.5" on most models or 0–2.75" on 2016–2023 Tacomas. The larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area improve damping performance and ride quality across varied terrain. Remote reservoirs help maintain consistent damping and cooler operating temperatures during extended heavy use. The system includes the Compression Damping Electronic Valve upgrade for in-vehicle electronic tuning.

The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters oil flow to regulate compression damping. It reacts rapidly (under 40 ms) to make precise adjustments for changing terrain. Hydraulic circuits are tailored per application for optimal resolution and dynamic range. When paired with the ICON Intelligent Control system and mobile app, onboard sensors (G-force sensor and gyroscope) inform algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings accordingly.
