ICON V.S. 2.5 Series

ICON V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilover shocks are a performance upgrade for the front end of 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma models equipped with a 6" lift kit. These coilovers provide adjustable ride height, increased wheel travel and tuned valving for improved on- and off-road ride quality and suspension control.

Built with a larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area, remote reservoirs to reduce overheating and cavitation, and ICON Compression Damping Control Valves (CDCV) for precise tuning, these coilovers are designed to handle added front-end weight from accessories while delivering consistent damping performance.

• Increased travel & improved ride quality: Larger shock body and vehicle-specific valving for superior damping and control.
• Height-adjustable: Allows fine tuning of ride height and use of larger wheel/tire combinations.
• Remote reservoirs: Greater oil volume and heat dissipation to resist damper fade under extended hard use.

• Heavy-duty coil springs: ICON-engineered springs with a 700 lb/in rate to support additional front-end weight from bumpers, winches and accessories.
• High-quality construction: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components and corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" diameter shafts.
• Durable bearings: Rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection.
• Serviceable: Fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term maintenance and customization.
• Balanced control: When paired with compatible rear shocks, provides balanced front-to-rear vehicle control.

Notes

• 700 lb/in spring rate is recommended only for trucks with additional weight added to the front end.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models with 5-lug wheel studs.
• Coilover length is optimized for a 6" subframe lift and requires a compatible 6" subframe lift; may be compatible with some other 6" lift kits.
