ICON Vehicle Dynamics S2 Secondary Shock System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics S2 Secondary Shock System enables the addition of a secondary 2.5 Aluminum Series or Omega bypass shock to an existing ICON coilover setup on 2005–2015 Toyota Tacoma, 2003–2009 Toyota 4Runner, and 2007–2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser models. The secondary shock significantly increases damping capacity for rough terrain and larger obstacles while offering a modular, mostly bolt-on solution that is easy to install and remove.

The system uses the factory lower control arms and maintains OE track width. It includes billet aluminum shock tower adapters, fabricated shock hoops, and steel skid plates with integrated shock mounts. The design avoids major alterations to the vehicle frame or other factory suspension components and allows the skid plates to be installed as a standalone protective upgrade.

• OEM wheels and tires fit.
• Recommended tire size: 33" x 11.50". Larger tires may fit but will likely require fender trimming and other modifications.
• Designed as stand-alone kits and not intended for use with other aftermarket suspension kits.
• Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover heights correspond to a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Welding required on the lower control arm for installation.
• Does not work with TRD Big Brake Kit.
• Not recommended with remote reservoir coilovers.
• Maximum steering angle is reduced to accommodate secondary shock compatibility.
• Not compatible with KDSS-equipped GX470 vehicles.
