ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. Series 2.5” coilover shocks are designed for the front end of 2023–2026 Chevrolet Colorado WT, LT, and Z71 trucks. Built for the narrower track of these submodels, the longer length delivers a 20% increase in total front wheel travel, providing up to 9.5” of front wheel travel for improved off-road capability.
Vehicle-specific valving offers a sport-tuned feel both on- and off-road, while 1.75–2.5” of adjustable front lift allows use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 2.5” diameter shock body and increased piston area improve damping performance and ride quality across varied terrain. Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity and heat dissipation to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use.
The included Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) provides electronic, in-vehicle adjustment of compression damping. This infinitely variable valve reacts in under 40 ms and makes precise adjustments for changing terrain. Hydraulic circuits are tailored per application for high resolution and dynamic range. When used with ICON Intelligent Control and the ICON mobile app, the system leverages onboard sensors to predict terrain and adjust CDEV settings; pairing with compatible rear CDEV shocks balances control front to rear for an optimized driving experience.
