ICON Vehicle Specific 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Each shock is length- and damping-tuned for the specific application, fully serviceable, and designed to reduce fade and control suspension during high-velocity compression.
- 10-position CDC Valve: External compression adjuster providing 10 levels of high-resolution compression damping.
- Internal Bump Zone: A 6061 billet aluminum manifold below the top cap increases damping by about 20% to prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-speed compression.
- Remote/piggyback reservoir: Improved heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Premium 5WT shock oil: Consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube: Durable monotube design with piggyback reservoir.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for balanced on- and off-road ride quality.
- 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft: Enhanced strength and wear resistance.
- PTFE-lined spherical bearings: Reduced friction and long service life with application-specific mounting hardware.
- 6061 aircraft-grade CNC-machined components: Precision construction for durability and performance.
- One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders: Excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Upgradeable: Piggyback and remote reservoir models can be upgraded to ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV).
