ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Each unit is tuned and sized for specific vehicle applications, features a nitrogen-charged monotube design with remote reservoir, and is fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term service and precise suspension control.
- Internal Bump Zone: 6061-billet aluminum manifold creates an internal Bump Zone that increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS): Independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment with 10 discreet detented settings for separate tuning of handling response and overall aggressiveness.
- Remote reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Vehicle-specific valving: One-piece digressive piston design tuned per application for superior on- and off-road ride quality.
- Durable cylinder construction: One-piece, hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Premium fluid: Grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- High-strength shaft: 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- Shaft protection: Rubber dust boot included.
