Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific application in both length and damping tune, and is fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The included Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) provides in-vehicle electronic adjustment of compression damping for precise control across varying terrain.

The CDEV is an electronically controlled valve that meters oil flow to regulate compression damping, reacting in less than 40ms for rapid, precise adjustments. Hydraulic circuits are custom tailored per application for maximum resolution and dynamic range. When used with piggyback or remote reservoir configurations, a 6061-billet aluminum manifold positioned below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that adds approximately 20% more damping to help prevent harsh bottom outs and control high-velocity compression.
