EXP Series Rear Shock Absorbers for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco (HOSS 1.0)

The EXP Series rear shock absorbers for the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco combine a fully rebuildable 2.5-inch diameter premium shock design with the ability to reuse the Bronco’s factory coil springs and related hardware. EXP provides suspension lift, custom-tuned performance, and increased travel in an economical, vehicle-specific package.

Overview

• Vehicle-specific design: Tuned for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco equipped with the HOSS 1.0 suspension package.
• Shock construction: One-piece impact-extruded aluminum body with hard anodized finish for corrosion and abrasion resistance.
• Shaft: 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft in a shaft-up (inverted) orientation using OE upper shock and spring mounts.
• Spring seat: CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum coil spring seat designed to fit the Bronco’s molded heavy-duty urethane coil spring seat.
• Adjustable rear ride height: Snap-ring grooves provide selectable lift from 1.5" to 2.25" over stock (on vehicles with OE HOSS 1.0).
• Piston & tuning: One-piece digressive piston custom-tuned to work with factory coil springs for improved damping on- and off-road.
• Heat management: Larger 2.5" piston and increased oil volume for superior heat dissipation versus smaller steel-bodied OE shocks.
• Serviceability: Fully rebuildable and re-valvable by a qualified shock technician, with service parts available.
• Hardware & bearings: CNC-machined aluminum components with PTFE-lined spherical bearing for longevity and minimal deflection.
• Installation: 100% bolt-on — no cutting or welding required.

• OEM wheels and tires fitment: Yes.
• Recommended aftermarket wheels: ICON Alloys 17x8.5" with 5.75" backspace / 25mm offset; ICON Alloys 18x9" with 6.00" backspace / 25mm offset.
• Recommended aftermarket tires: 35" x 12.50". 37" tire packages require trimming and modifications.
• Will not fit Bronco Raptor.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Only fits Ford Bronco equipped with the HOSS 1.0 suspension package.
• EXP coilovers are sold individually; a quantity of 2 is required per vehicle.
