ICON EXP Series Front Shock Absorbers — 2021–2026 Ford Bronco (HOSS 1.0)

The 2021–2026 Ford Bronco EXP Series front shock absorbers by ICON Vehicle Dynamics pair a fully rebuildable 2.5-inch diameter premium shock with the convenience of re-using the Bronco’s factory coil springs and related components. EXP bridges the gap between spacer lifts and threaded-body coilovers, delivering suspension lift, custom-tuned damping and increased travel in an economical, serviceable package.

EXP Series is built on ICON’s 2.5-inch Aluminum Series platform with a one-piece impact-extruded aluminum shock body and hard anodized finish for abrasion and corrosion resistance. The 7/8-inch diameter shaft is induction hardened and chrome plated. EXP shocks use the factory shaft-up orientation and are machined to accept the Bronco’s OE upper shock and spring mounts.

The CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum coil spring seat is designed to fit the molded heavy-duty urethane coil spring seat used with the Bronco OE coil springs. Snap-ring grooves machined into the shock body provide selectable front ride height adjustment from 1.375" to 3" of lift over stock on Broncos equipped with the OE HOSS 1.0 suspension package.

• OEM wheels and tires fitment: Yes
• Recommended aftermarket wheels: ICON Alloys — 17x8.5" with 5.75" backspace / 25mm offset; 18x9" with 6.00" backspace / 25mm offset
• Recommended aftermarket tires: 35" x 12.50" (requires high-clearance crash bars, ICON part number 42000). 37" tire packages require coilover bump stop spacers along with trimming and modifications.
• Will not fit Bronco Raptor
• Factory upper control arms will not align properly past 2" of lift; above 2" of lift an aftermarket upper control arm is recommended
• Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle
• Recommended crash bars part #42000 on non-Sasquatch equipped vehicles when running 35" tires
• When running 37" tires, crash bar removal may be required but is not recommended
• When running 37" tires, use bump stop spacer kit part #611082 in the front
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation
• Due to increased wheel travel and lift height provided by these coilovers, ICON upper control arms with Delta Joint Pro (part numbers 48400DJ or 48500DJ) are recommended. Other aftermarket front upper control arms may not be compatible; installers must verify fitment. Failure to cycle the suspension and check for ball joint bind issues may lead to component failure and/or injury.
• Only fits Ford Bronco equipped with HOSS 1.0 suspension package
• EXP coilovers are sold individually; a quantity of 2 is required per vehicle
