ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks

ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured specifically for the application in both length and damping tune. One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders reduce weight, improve corrosion resistance, and provide a consistent finish. These shocks are 100% rebuildable and revalveable, and feature ICON’s internal Bump Zone for increased control as the shock approaches full compression. ICON Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valves provide independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment for precise suspension tuning.

• Construction: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components and one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for reduced weight and superior corrosion resistance.
• CDXS Valves: Independent high- and low-speed compression adjustability with 10 discrete detented settings for separate tuning of handling response and overall aggressiveness.
• Internal Bump Zone: Adds approximately 20% additional damping to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
• Design: Nitrogen-charged monotube with remote reservoir for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during prolonged use.
• Piston & Shaft: One-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving and a 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for durability and consistent ride quality.
• Mounting & Seals: PTFE-lined spherical bearings, double-sealed Schrader caps, and application-specific mounting hardware.
• Fluid & Serviceability: Premium-grade shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range; 100% rebuildable and revalveable.
• Remote Reservoir Options: Piggyback and remote-reservoir designs with a 6061 billet-aluminum manifold on select models to create the internal Bump Zone.
