The V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilover shocks are a front-end upgrade for Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, and Lexus GX platforms. Vehicle-specific valving delivers a sport-tuned feel on- and off-road while offering 0-3.5" of front lift adjustability for larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area improve damping capability and ride characteristics across varying terrain. Remote reservoirs help maintain consistent damping and keep operating temperatures lower during heavy use. A CDC valve upgrade is included to allow external tuning with multiple compression settings. Upgraded coil springs better support added front-end weight from accessories. Extended-length versions increase wheel travel but require installation of aftermarket upper control arms. The shocks use a fully serviceable design for revalves and rebuilds and install in the OEM shock locations.
