ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks with Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) deliver outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured per application for length and damping tune. For piggyback and remote-reservoir configurations, a 6061 billet aluminum manifold below the top cap creates an internal Bump Zone that increases damping by 20%, helping prevent harsh bottom-outs and controlling high-velocity compressions. These shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters oil flow to regulate compression damping. The infinitely variable valve reacts in under 40 ms to make precise adjustments for varying terrain. Hydraulic circuits are custom tailored per application to maximize resolution and dynamic range. Paired with ICON Intelligent Control and the ICON mobile app, the system uses onboard G-force sensors and a gyroscope plus user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust damping accordingly.
