ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Each shock is length- and damping-tuned for the specific vehicle application. Built with premium materials and serviceability in mind, these shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable to maintain long-term performance.
- Internal Bump Zone: 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone that increases damping by approximately 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote/piggyback reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use; nitrogen-charged monotube design.
- Premium oil: Uses grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for optimal performance and ride quality on- and off-road.
- Durable shaft: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- High-quality bearings and hardware: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- CNC-machined components: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum parts for strength and precision.
- Corrosion-resistant cylinders: One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Serviceable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
- Upgradeable: Piggyback and remote reservoir 2.5 Series shocks are compatible with ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) upgrade.
