ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is specifically configured for the application in both length and damping tune, and is fully serviceable for long-term use.
- Externally adjustable CDC Valve: 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustment with a simple turn of the knob.
- 6061 billet aluminum manifold & internal Bump Zone: Manifold placement creates an internal Bump Zone that increases damping force by approximately 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs at high compression velocities.
- One-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders: Excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Protective shin guards: Standard to help protect shock shafts from debris during off-road use.
- 100% rebuildable and revalveable: Designed for serviceability and long-term performance tuning.
- Remote/piggyback reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use; nitrogen-charged monotube construction.
- Premium-grade 5WT shock oil: Provides consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for balanced on- and off-road ride quality.
- Durable shaft and hardware: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft; PTFE-lined spherical bearings; application-specific mounting hardware.
- CNC-machined components: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum construction for strength and precision.
