ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks

The ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are precision-configured monotube, remote-reservoir dampers designed for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is tuned for vehicle-specific length and valving, and is fully serviceable for rebuilds and valving changes. ICON’s internal “Bump Zone” increases high-velocity compression control to help prevent harsh bottom-outs.

  • Vehicle-specific tuning: Configured in both length and damping tune for each application.
  • Rebuildable and revalveable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable for long-term serviceability and customization.
  • Internal Bump Zone: 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone that adds approximately 20% additional damping as the shock approaches full compression.
  • Remote reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
  • Premium fluids and construction: Filled with premium grade 5WT shock oil; nitrogen-charged monotube design with a one-piece digressive piston and vehicle-specific valving.
  • Durable hardware: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft; press-in bonded rubber bushing/bar pin assembly for OE-type fitment.
  • Aircraft-grade materials: 6061 CNC-machined components and hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
  • Upgradeable: Remote reservoir shocks can be upgraded with ICON compression adjusters (CDCV, CDXS, or CDEV) for user-defined tuning.
  • Extended travel option: Extended travel length provides maximum wheel travel and may require aftermarket front upper control arms.

Notes:

  • These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
  • Shocks are fully serviceable. Lift heights indicated are for a stock equipped vehicle.
  • Compatible with 0–3.5" of front lift on most Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD submodels; compatible with 0–2" of front lift on Chevrolet Silverado 2500 ZR2 and GMC Sierra 2500 AT4X.
