ICON V.S. 3.0 Series

ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 3.0 Series shocks are engineered for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured in length and damping tune for the specific application, with increased piston surface area and oil capacity to improve control, heat dissipation, and resistance to shock fade. These monotube, nitrogen-charged shocks are fully serviceable, rebuildable, and revalveable, and include ICON’s internal Bump Zone and Compression Damping Control Valve for precise tuning across varied driving conditions.

  • Vehicle-specific tuning: Configured for each application in both length and damping for superior shock control.
  • Piston & body: 3.0" body diameter with 50% more piston surface area versus 2.5 Series for increased stability and control.
  • Improved heat management: Increased internal oil volume and larger external surface area plus remote reservoir design to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
  • Internal Bump Zone: 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal Bump Zone that adds approximately 20% of damping force to prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
  • Compression adjustability: ICON CDC Valve technology provides 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability with the turn of a knob.
  • Piston design: One-piece linear compression / digressive rebound piston with vehicle-specific valving for balanced on- and off-road performance.
  • Construction: 7/8" induction hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft; 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC components; Cerakoted steel cylinders for corrosion resistance.
  • Mounting: Press-in, bonded rubber bushing/bar pin assembly for OE-style fitment and vibration damping.
  • Fluid & charge: Nitrogen-charged monotube design filled with premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
  • Serviceability: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
  • Travel & compatibility: Extended travel length requires ICON Delta Joint Pro front upper control arms and provides maximum wheel travel.
