MTO Series Wrangler JL Spare Tire Swing Gate
The MTO Series Wrangler JL Spare Tire Swing Gate is engineered to support larger, heavier aftermarket wheels and tires by transferring their weight from the aluminum tailgate to a reinforced steel bumper. The single-action swing gate opens with the tailgate and uses a dual taper bearing and dual heim pivot for smooth operation. The carrier includes an adjustable camera mount, retains full third brake light functionality, and features a mounting point for Hi-Lift style jacks or similar accessories. Installation is fully bolt-on with no drilling required.
- Weight transfer design: Redirects tire/wheel weight off the aluminum tailgate to the reinforced steel bumper.
- Single-action swing gate: Opens along with the tailgate for easy access.
- Smooth operation: Dual taper bearing and dual heim pivot provide easy, reliable opening and closing.
- Maximum tire size: Accepts up to a 38" x 13.50" tire.
- Wheel compatibility: Fits up to a 20" wheel.

- Brake light retention: Accepts the factory third brake light and retains full functionality.

* Fitment Note: Fits up to a 20" wheel and a 38" x 13.5" tire. Recommended for wheels with 4+ inches backspacing; not compatible with -44 offset wheels. Not compatible with wheels wider than 9.5". Works with factory wheels when using 2" or larger wheel spacers.
