ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series
ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series monotube shocks with piggyback/remote reservoir are engineered for strong off-road performance and a smooth on-road ride. Each unit is configured for the specific vehicle application in both length and damping tune, with aluminum construction to improve durability and heat dissipation.
- Adjustable compression: ICON CDC Valve provides 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability.
- High-quality construction: 6061 aircraft-grade CNC-machined components and one-piece hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance.
- Internal Bump Zone: Increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control suspension during high-velocity compression.
- Piston and valving: One-piece digressive piston design with vehicle-specific valving for improved ride quality on and off road.
- Shaft and bearings: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft with PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- Reservoir and fade resistance: Nitrogen-charged monotube design with piggyback/remote reservoir improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Shock oil: Premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent suspension damping across a wide temperature range.
- Serviceable and tunable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable for long-term maintenance and tuning flexibility.
