ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered for aggressive off-road performance while maintaining a smooth, controlled on-road ride. Each shock is length- and damping-tuned for the specific vehicle application and built for long-term serviceability and tuning flexibility.
- Vehicle-specific valving: One-piece digressive piston with application-specific valving for balanced ride quality on and off road.
- Premium damping fluid: Uses premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Rebuildable and revalveable: 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable for extended life and customizable performance.
- Piggyback/remote reservoir: Nitrogen-charged monotube design with piggyback reservoir improves heat dissipation and reduces shock fade during prolonged use.
- Internal Bump Zone: A 6061 billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone that increases damping by approximately 20% to help prevent harsh bottoming and control high-velocity compression.
- Optional CDCV upgrade: Piggyback and remote reservoir models can be upgraded to the Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) for more user-defined tuning.
- High-quality construction: One-piece, hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders and 6061 aircraft-grade CNC components provide corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Durable mounting and shaft: PTFE-lined spherical bearings, application-specific mounting hardware, and a 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for improved durability.
