ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are vehicle-specific monotube dampers engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the exact application in both length and damping tune and is fully serviceable for long-term use.
- Externally adjustable CDC Valve: 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability via an external knob.
- Internal Bump Zone: A 6061 billet aluminum manifold located below the top cap creates an internal bump zone that increases damping by approximately 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote piggyback reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Premium 5WT shock oil: Provides consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube design: Durable construction with piggyback reservoir for stable performance.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for balanced ride quality on- and off-road.
- 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft: High-strength shaft for long life and smooth operation.
- PTFE-lined spherical bearings: Low-friction, application-specific mounting hardware for reliable articulation.
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC components: Precision-machined parts for strength and consistency.
