ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off‑road performance while maintaining a smooth street ride. Each shock is length‑matched and valved for the specific vehicle application. The design is fully serviceable—100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable—and features an internal Bump Zone created by a 6061 billet aluminum manifold that increases damping as the shock approaches full compression.
- Internal "Bump Zone" increases damping by 20% to control high‑velocity compression and reduce harsh bottom outs
- Remote reservoir design for improved heat dissipation and reduced shock fade during prolonged use
- Premium 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range
- Nitrogen‑charged monotube construction with piggyback reservoir
- One‑piece digressive piston with vehicle‑specific valving for balanced on‑ and off‑road performance
- 7/8" induction‑hardened, chrome‑plated shock shaft
- PTFE‑lined spherical bearings and application‑specific mounting hardware
- 6061 aircraft‑grade aluminum CNC machined components
- One‑piece impact‑extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish
- 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable
- Upgradeable to the Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) for more user‑defined tuning
