ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series

The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilover shocks are a performance upgrade for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma. These vehicle-specific coilovers provide increased piston area, a larger 2.5" shock body, and extended travel to maximize wheel travel and improve ride quality both on- and off-road. Remote reservoirs increase oil volume and cooling capacity to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use. ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) offers precise external compression adjustment so you can tune damping for street driving, rock crawling, or high-speed desert use.

• Fitment / Lift adjustability: 0–3.5" lift range for 2005–2015 models; 0–2.75" lift range for 2016–2023 models.
• Vehicle-specific valving: Tuned shock length and valving for optimized damping and control.
• Remote reservoirs: Increased oil capacity and cooling to reduce damper fade during heavy use.
• CDCV: 10-position external compression damping adjustment for precise tuning.
• Extended travel: Maximize wheel travel; requires aftermarket front upper control arms.
• Includes: Sway bar relocation brackets and reservoir mounting brackets for optimum tire clearance.
• Construction: CAD-plated threaded body, billet aluminum upper mount, and PTFE-lined 5/8" spherical bearings.
• Serviceability: Completely rebuildable and serviceable design.

• Recommended aftermarket wheels: ICON Alloys — 17x8.5 with 4.75" backspace / 0mm offset; 18x9 with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset; 20x9 with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset.
• Recommended aftermarket tire size: 33" x 11.50". Larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications will be required.
• These systems are to be used with aftermarket upper control arms only.
• 700 lb/in Expedition coil option available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• 2016–2023 Tacoma front lift range is 0–2.75".
• Trimming required for recommended tire size.
• Bump stop spacer kit 51045 can be installed to increase preload 0.25" beyond maximum.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma with 5 wheel lug studs.
