ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific application in both length and damping tune, and is fully rebuildable and re-tunable. For piggyback and remote reservoir configurations, an internal Bump Zone created by a 6061-billet aluminum manifold increases damping at high-velocity compression to reduce harsh bottom-outs. Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valves provide independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment for precise suspension tuning.
- Internal Bump Zone: Increases damping by 20% to provide additional control as the shock approaches full compression.
- Remote reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- One-piece aluminum cylinders: Hard anodized, impact-extruded 6061 aluminum offers excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Premium shock oil: Grade 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube: Monotube design with remote reservoir for consistent performance.
- ICON CDXS: Independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression with 10 detented settings for each knob.
- Piston design: One-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving for optimized on- and off-road ride quality.
- Durable shaft: 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- Shaft protection: Rubber dust boot included for added protection.
- High-quality mounts: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- CNC machined components: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined parts.
