ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are built for outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride. Each shock is configured for the specific vehicle application in both length and damping tune. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable, these remote-reservoir designs use a 6061-billet aluminum manifold to create an internal Bump Zone that adds damping as the shock approaches full compression to help prevent harsh bottom-outs.
Engineered for durability and consistent performance across a wide temperature range, these shocks combine precision valving with premium materials and construction for reliable on- and off-road control.
- 20% increased damping: Internal Bump Zone provides additional control at high-velocity compression to reduce bottom-outs.
- Remote reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders: Hard anodized for excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Premium 5WT shock oil: Ensures consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube: Monotube construction with remote reservoir for responsive performance.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for balanced on- and off-road ride quality.
- Upgradeable: All ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks can be upgraded with ICON compression adjusters (CDCV, CDXS, or CDEV).
- Durable shaft: 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- Shaft protection: Rubber dust boot included.
- High-quality bearings and hardware: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
