ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver exceptional off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is tailored to the vehicle with application-specific length and valving. These monotube, piggyback remote reservoir shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, and can be upgraded with ICON compression adjusters for a more user-defined tune.
- Internal "Bump Zone": 6061-billet aluminum manifold creates an internal Bump Zone that increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote reservoir design: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- One-piece aluminum cylinders: Hard-anodized, impact-extruded construction for corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Premium shock oil: Grade 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen charged monotube: Piggyback reservoir design for consistent performance.
- One-piece digressive piston: Vehicle-specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on and off-road.
- Compression adjustability: Compatible with ICON compression adjusters (CDCV, CDXS, CDEV) for customizable tuning.
- Durable shaft: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft.
- High-quality bearings and hardware: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
- CNC-machined components: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components.
