ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series Shocks
ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are engineered to deliver outstanding off-road performance while maintaining a smooth on-road ride. Each shock is configured for the specific application in both length and damping tune. These monotube, nitrogen-charged shocks feature remote reservoirs and are fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term serviceability.
- Application-specific tuning: One-piece digressive piston design with vehicle-specific valving for optimized performance and ride quality on and off-road.
- CDC Valve: Externally adjustable compression control providing 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability.
- Internal Bump Zone: 6061-billet aluminum manifold creates an internal bump zone that increases damping by 20% to help prevent harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote reservoir: Improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- Durable construction: One-piece, hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders and 6061 aircraft-grade CNC-machined components for corrosion resistance and consistent finish.
- Premium internals: Premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range and a one-piece digressive piston for stable performance.
- Hardened shaft: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for strength and wear resistance.
- Mounting hardware: PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware for smooth articulation and fitment.
- Serviceable: Fully rebuildable and re-tunable for long-term maintenance and customization.
