ICON V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series
Designed to deliver outstanding off-road performance and a smooth street ride, these shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable, the design incorporates a remote reservoir and an internal Bump Zone created by a 6061-billet aluminum manifold to provide additional control at high-speed compression. Compression Damping Control Valves allow precise tuning for a wide range of driving conditions.
- Internal "Bump Zone" increases damping by approximately 20% to reduce harsh bottom-outs and control high-velocity compression.
- Remote reservoir design improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use.
- One-piece, hard-anodized, impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
- Premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent suspension damping across a wide temperature range.
- Nitrogen-charged monotube design with remote reservoir.
- Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) provides 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability.
- One-piece digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving for superior performance and ride quality on and off-road.
- 7/8” induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft for durability.
- Rubber dust boot included for added shaft protection.
- PTFE-lined spherical bearings and application-specific mounting hardware.
