ARB Old Man Emu BP-51 Suspension Kit
Old Man Emu BP-51 (Bypass 51mm diameter bore) shock absorbers bring racing technology to everyday adventures. Developed with revolutionary, patent-pending technology, they deliver unparalleled on- and off-road performance and combine comfortable town driving with substantial end-zone damping for exceptional off-road chassis control and handling.
These big-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers feature a remote reservoir and were developed and extensively tested in Australia’s harshest conditions. Their damping adjusts across a wide range of rebound and compression, allowing significant changes to ride performance and a custom tune for the conditions and vehicle setup.
The body, reservoir and components are made from 6061 T6 aluminum with Type 3 40 micron hard anodizing for exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance and resistance to stone damage. ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineers designed, developed and tested the shock absorbers, which are manufactured in-house by ARB. Investment in state-of-the-art machinery gives ARB total control of the manufacturing process to ensure the highest possible quality.
