ARB BP-51 Bypass Shock Absorbers
ARB BP-51 shock absorbers bring racing technology to everyday adventures. These 51mm bore, position-sensitive bypass shocks use patent-pending technology developed to deliver unparalleled on- and off-road performance. Extensively tested in Australia under the harshest conditions, they combine comfortable rides around town with substantial end-zone damping for exceptional off-road chassis control and handling.
The remote-reservoir shocks bolt onto the vehicle without modifications, and their damping is adjustable across a wide range of rebound and compression settings. These adjustments can significantly change ride performance, allowing a custom tune for the conditions and vehicle setup.
The body, reservoir and components are made from 6061 T6 aluminum with Type 3 40-micron hard anodizing for exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance and resistance to stone damage. ARB’s Old Man Emu ride engineers designed, developed and tested the BP-51 shocks, which are manufactured in-house by ARB. Investment in state-of-the-art machinery gives ARB total control over the manufacturing process to ensure the highest possible quality.
