Old Man Emu MT64 Shock Absorber
The MT64 shock is a versatile all-rounder designed for the demanding requirements of overlanding and a wide range of vehicle builds, from stock vehicles to setups carrying substantial additional weight. It combines high load-handling capability with vehicle-specific damping tuned for different loads and configurations.
When paired with coil springs, the MT64 provides 2 inches of lift and is tuned for 0–660 lbs of added rear weight. It is designed to manage the shifting front-to-back and side-to-side loads created by campers, toppers, tents and rack systems.
Built for changing conditions, the MT64 is intended to deliver a smooth, comfortable ride both on and off the road. Its design supports the demands of overlanding, where shocks must perform reliably across varied conditions day after day.

- Monotube design with a large 2.8-inch body for increased oil capacity and precise shock tuning
- Aerospace-grade aluminum body dissipates heat 15 times faster than steel and provides increased protection against stone damage
- Forged body cap and rod ends reduce weight while maintaining strength
- Digressive valving reacts immediately to changing surface conditions to maximize performance
- Hydraulic end-zone top-out design adds cushioning at full shock extension to help compensate for unexpected bumps
