ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2021-2025 Ford F-150 4WD Stage 2 Suspension System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 suspension system for 2021–2025 Ford F-150 4WD trucks is engineered to increase wheel travel and damping capacity for improved vehicle control and ride quality on- and off-road. The system replicates Tremor suspension geometry with high-strength steering knuckles and combines vehicle-specific tuned coilovers, upper control arms, multi-rate rear springs, and piggyback rear shocks to balance performance and ride comfort.

• High-strength ductile iron steering knuckles that replicate F-150 Tremor suspension geometry.
• 2.5" vehicle-specific coilover shocks with internal reservoirs for improved cooling and damping; height adjustable for approximately 3.5–4.5" front lift (varies with vehicle equipment).
• ICON Delta Joint PRO tubular upper control arms featuring a rebuildable articulation joint for greater durability and expanded range of motion.
• 20% increase in front wheel travel compared to other ICON coilover kits, with improved ride quality and no change in towing capacity.
• 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks with vehicle-specific valving for balanced front/rear damping.
• ICON-engineered coil springs and multi-rate leaf springs for rear spring rate and ride height customization; three user-adjustable rear spring rates supported.
• Billet aluminum lowering shackles to maintain rear ride height range while improving ride quality and reducing axle wrap.
• Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated coilover bodies with 7/8" shafts and hardened components; 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined parts used throughout.
• Rod-end bearings and reinforced hardware for extended longevity and minimal deflection across the system.
• 100% bolt-on installation — no drilling, cutting, or welding required for standard installs.

Multi-rate rear spring options allow tailoring of rear spring rate and ride height:

• Option 1 (as shipped): approximately +1.50" rear lift over stock (unloaded).
• Option 2: approximately +2.75" rear lift over stock (unloaded) and +1.50" rear lift with ~400 lb constant load; provides ~20% higher spring rate than Option 1.
• Three user-adjustable spring rates enable unique vehicle setups and improved ride quality compared to stock leaf springs.

Typical fitment & lift ranges (may vary by vehicle equipment):

• Front lift: nominally 3.5–4.5" over stock with aftermarket wheels; 3.25–4.25" for PowerBoost hybrid-equipped models; 3.0–4.0" for Power‑Stroke diesel-equipped models.
• Rear lift: configurable between approximately 1.5–3.5" depending on spring selection and load.
• Wheel/tire compatibility: supports up to 34" x 12.50" tires in most configurations; larger tires may require fender trimming or additional modifications.
• Aftermarket wheels with lower offset/less backspace are recommended; a ~6 mm offset is commonly suggested for fitment.

Notes

• Only fits 4WD models.
• Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Will not work with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension or continuous controlled damping systems in many configurations.
• ICON Delta Joint PRO upper control arms are required as part of this system.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• If equipped with dynamic bending headlamps and/or onboard scales, additional parts may be required (part number 611081 referenced where applicable).
• Reduction in rear spring rate may reduce accuracy of onboard scales, if equipped.
• Will not fit F-150 Raptor models.
