ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 3 EXP Complete Suspension System — 2019–2026 GM 1500

The ICON Stage 3 EXP suspension system for 2019–2026 GM 1500 pickups combines 2.5 EXP series front coilover shock absorbers, tubular billet upper control arms, and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear piggyback shocks to provide lift, improved on- and off-road performance, correct alignment at varying ride heights, and fitment for larger tires.

• Vehicle fitment: 2019–2026 GM 1500 pickups (Silverado 1500 / Sierra 1500)
• Front shocks: 2.5 EXP Series coilover-style absorbers that reuse factory coil springs and hardware while offering rebuildable, serviceable internals and adjustable ride height
• Rear shocks: 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir shocks tuned for balanced front-to-rear control and sustained damping performance under heavy use
• Upper control arms: Tubular billet design to correct front-end geometry, add caster, increase suspension component clearance, and improve drivability
• Delta Joint: Serviceable Delta Joint replaces OE ball joint to allow full bump and droop travel while eliminating bind (U.S. Patent No. 10,731,700)
• Construction: One-piece, impact-extruded hard-anodized aluminum cylinders and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum components with corrosion-resistant finish
• Shaft and design: 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft with inverted shaft-up design
• Bump control: Rear shocks include an internal Bump Zone that increases damping force on hard bottom outs
• Serviceability: All ICON shock absorbers in the system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable
• Adjustable lift: Front ride height adjustable with snap ring; typical ranges noted below vary by trim, engine, and suspension options

• Recommended wheel sizes: 17x8.5 (4.75" backspace / 0mm offset), 18x9 (5" backspace / 0mm offset), 20x9 (5" backspace / 0mm offset)
• Recommended tire fitment: up to 35x12.50" for Silverado 1500 (minor fender trimming and modifications may be required)
• Recommended tire fitment: up to 34x12.00" for Sierra 1500 (minor fender trimming and modifications may be required)
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Trimming of fenders or minor modifications may be required for recommended tire sizes.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Not compatible with Silverado 1500 ZR2 or Sierra 1500 AT4X submodels.
• Not compatible with Silverado 1500 Trail Boss or Sierra 1500 AT4 submodels.
• Silverado and Sierra submodels equipped with Adaptive Ride Control require additional parts 71021 and 71022 for proper installation.
• Most diesel-equipped Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra submodels will have a front lift range of approximately 1.75"–3.0" over stock.
• Most gasoline-equipped Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra submodels will have a front lift range of approximately 2.375"–3.75" over stock.
• May require concurrent installation of aftermarket rear shocks depending on vehicle configuration.
