ICON Stage 4 4.5" Suspension System — 2011–2016 Super Duty

This 4.5" suspension system is engineered for improved ride quality, increased wheel travel and enhanced off-road capability. It combines dual-rate front coil springs with ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV shocks and a radius arm system to deliver durable, quiet performance and optimized tire clearance.

• Front raise height: 4.5 in
• Rear raise height: 1.5 in or 3 in (depending on configuration)
• Included components: front coil springs, ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV shocks, radius arm drop-down brackets, fabricated radius arms, rear blocks and U-bolts, patented adjustable track bar
• Shock construction: corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum bodies with 7/8" shafts
• Performance: 50% increase in wheel travel and 4.5" more travel from ride height to front bump stops
• Ride quality: sealed pivot bushings minimize road feedback for long life and quiet operation
• Strength & clearance: fully boxed, fabricated radius arms with a profile optimized for tire clearance at full steering lock (clears 35" tires; 37" tires with minor trimming)
• Installation: 100% bolt-on system — no cutting or welding necessary
• Handling: reduced body roll versus stock
• Serviceability: shocks are fully serviceable; coil springs carry a lifetime guarantee against sag
• Other: no change in towing capacity and no driveshaft modifications typically required

Recommended wheel and tire guidance:

• Wheels: 17x8.5" (approx. 5.00" backspace / 6mm offset), 18x9" (approx. 5.25" backspace / 6mm offset), 20x9" (approx. 5.25" backspace / 6mm offset)
• Tires: 35" x 12.50" (larger tires may fit but fender trimming and additional modifications may be required)

Notes:

• Springs are rated for diesel engines only.
• This system may require a carrier bearing drop bracket kit.
• '08–current Super Duty models with gas engines may need the exhaust modified to clear the front driveshaft.
• Radius arm / 4-link frame brackets will require minor drilling into the frame to complete installation.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
