ICON Vehicle Dynamics

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 3.0 complete suspension system for the 2023–2025 Toyota Sequoia upgrades to 3.0 Series front coilovers and pairs with 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV rear remote reservoir shocks for improved on- and off-road performance. The system delivers adjustable compression damping, increased lift height range for proper stance and fitment of up to 35" tires, and a full complement of suspension components for enhanced durability and control.

  • 3.0 Series remote reservoir front coilovers with CDC Valves — adjustable compression damping and improved cooling for consistent performance.
  • 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV rear remote reservoir shocks — remote reservoirs, internal Bump Zone and CDC Valves for balanced front-to-rear damping.
  • Tubular front upper control arms (UCAs) — corrected front-end geometry, added caster, and improved clearance; includes serviceable Delta Joint PRO ball joint for full bump and droop travel.
  • Billet rear upper and lower link combo — adjustable, durable links for improved rear articulation and pinion angle correction.
  • Front sway bar drop brackets — reduce link bind and allow full wheel travel without overstressing OE components.
  • Adjustable rear track bar — billet CNC-machined construction with on-vehicle adjustment for axle centering.
  • Dual-rate rear coil springs — softer ride rate with firmer overload rate for on-road comfort and off-road bottoming resistance.

Ride height and travel: The 3.0 Series front coilovers offer front ride height adjustability (typical range up to 3–4.25" over stock when used with the ICON tubular UCAs) and ICON’s vehicle-specific shock lengths maximize available travel. The 3.0 Series pistons provide increased piston surface area and a multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone for improved bottom-out resistance.

Durability and serviceability: All ICON shocks in the system are rebuildable and re-tunable. Tubular rear links feature DOM tubing, PTFE-lined rod ends, multi-durometer bushings, and corrosion-resistant powder coat for long-term durability with reduced maintenance.

Compatibility and fitment: Dual-rate rear coils are designed to yield 2" of rear lift on non-TRD Sequoia models and 0" rear lift on Sequoia models equipped with the TRD Off-Road package for a level stance front to rear. The system supports larger wheel and tire packages while retaining controlled on-road dynamics.

Balanced tuning: The pairing of 3.0 Series front coilovers and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks provides a balanced vehicle tune, improved stability, and enhanced control across a wide range of driving conditions.

Key features

  • Vehicle specific design for 2023–2025 Toyota Sequoia
  • 3.0 Series front coilovers with remote reservoirs for superior damping and cooling
  • Adjustable front ride heights (typical 3–4.25" over stock with UCAs)
  • CDC Valves on all shocks — 10 settings of compression damping adjustment
  • Tubular UCAs for strength, alignment correction and improved drivability; includes Delta Joint PRO with high articulation
  • Sway bar drop brackets reduce bind and allow full wheel travel
  • Tubular rear upper and lower links for improved articulation and adjustability
  • Dual-rate rear coil springs for ride quality and bottoming resistance (0" or 2" rear lift depending on stock suspension)
  • On-vehicle adjustable rear track bar for axle centering
  • All shocks rebuildable and re-tunable

Notes

  • Shocks are fully serviceable; lift heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
  • Advertised lift height ranges are for a stock-equipped vehicle; increasing vehicle weight due to accessories will alter lift range.
  • Tundra/Sequoia equipped with automatic leveling headlights or load-leveling rear height control air suspension require part number 55153.
  • Not compatible with vehicles equipped with load-leveling rear height control air suspension.
  • For 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends using the ICON Diff Drop (part number 55156) or Toyota TRD axles (434200C020 driver / 434100C020 passenger); not required for TRD Pro.
  • Not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles.
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install.
  • If equipped with TRD aluminum skid plate, part number 55164 is required.
  • Typical lift: most Sequoia submodels achieve ~3–4.25" front and 2" rear over stock; TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels typically see ~1–2.25" front and stock rear. For taller rear ride heights consider kit K53251TS.
  • Recommended tire fitment: up to 35" x 12.50" (minor fender trimming may be required).
  • Recommended aftermarket wheels: 17x8.5" (5.75" backspace) or 18x9" (6" backspace) with 25mm offset.
