ICON Stage 1 3.0 Complete Suspension System — 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia

The ICON Stage 1 3.0 suspension system upgrades the Sequoia with 3.0 Series front coilovers and a complete complement of billet linkages, remote reservoir rear shocks, dual-rate rear coils, and hardware to improve on- and off-road performance, increase ride travel, and allow fitment of larger tires while maintaining drivability and vehicle control.

• Front suspension: VS 3.0 Series remote reservoir coilovers with CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) for independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment and up to 3–4.25" of front lift over stock when used with ICON billet upper control arms (submodel-dependent)
• Rear suspension: 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks with CDXS paired with dual-rate rear coil springs for improved on-road comfort and off-road bottoming resistance
• Billet components: CNC-machined billet aluminum upper control arms and billet adjustable rear upper/lower links for corrected geometry, increased adjustment range, and improved articulation
• Delta Joint PRO: Serviceable, rebuildable joint in front UCAs providing full bump/droop travel and reduced bind
• Sway bar drop brackets: Reduce link bind and allow full wheel travel without overstressing OE components
• Adjustable rear track bar: Billet, on-vehicle adjustable track bar for centering the axle and fine tuning pinion angle
• Shock design benefits: 3.0 Series shocks offer increased piston surface area and a multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone for improved bottom-out resistance and stability; remote reservoirs improve cooling and consistent damping under heavy use
• Adjustability: CDXS provides 10 detented settings for both low- and high-speed compression knobs for precise tuning of handling response and ride aggressiveness
• Serviceability: All ICON shock absorbers are fully rebuildable and re-tunable
• Tire & wheel capability: Allows fitment of up to 35" x 12.50" tires with minor fender trimming; recommended aftermarket wheel offset ~25 mm

Performance summary: The system increases front and rear lift range for proper stance and 35" tire fitment possibilities, expands shock travel for improved off-road control (up to a 40% increase over stock in some configurations), and provides a balanced front-to-rear tune for both on-road refinement and off-road capability.

Notes

• Shocks are fully serviceable. Advertised lift heights are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added vehicle weight from accessories will alter lift range.
• Typical lift ranges by submodel: non-TRD Sequoia — approx. front 3–4.25" and rear 2"; TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels — approx. front 1–2.25" and rear 0". For taller rear ride heights, consider the alternate kit K53251DS.
• Not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles.
• Tundra/Sequoia vehicles equipped with automatic leveling headlights or load-leveling rear height control air suspension require part 55153; vehicles with load‑leveling rear air suspension may be incompatible.
• For 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, use of a differential drop or TRD axle option is recommended to prevent front axle damage; not required for TRD Pro.
• If equipped with the TRD aluminum skid plate, part 55164 is required.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Minor fender trimming and/or modifications may be required for 35" tires.
