ICON Stage 9 Complete Suspension System — 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia

The ICON Stage 9 complete suspension system for the 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia upgrades front and rear shock absorbers with Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) for independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment. This turnkey system combines ICON V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers, 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks, tubular upper control arms, a sway bar drop kit, and dual-rate rear coil springs to deliver improved on- and off-road performance, increased travel, and vehicle-specific lift and alignment corrections.

• Adjustable front coilovers: ICON V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers with CDXS, offering independent low- and high-speed compression adjustment with 10 detented settings each.
• Increased travel & cooling: Larger 2.5" shock bodies and remote reservoirs increase oil volume and cooling to resist damper fade and deliver up to ~40% more travel versus stock.
• Front lift range: Adjustable front ride height; typically 3–4.5" over stock when used with ICON billet front upper control arms.
• Tubular upper control arms: Vehicle-specific tubular UCAs correct front-end geometry, add caster, improve clearance, and use a serviceable Delta Joint Pro for full bump and droop travel without bind.
• Sway bar drop brackets: Reduce sway bar link bind and allow full wheel travel without overstressing OE components.
• Dual-rate rear coil springs: Softer primary rate with firmer overload rate for on-road comfort, bottoming resistance, and superior off-road performance; designed for taller rear ride heights.
• Rear shocks: 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks tuned for the Sequoia, featuring CDXS and an internal Bump Zone that adds approximately 20% additional damping for hard bottom-outs.
• Balanced tune: Front coilovers and rear remote shocks are matched for balanced vehicle control and overall driving experience.
• Serviceable & rebuildable: All ICON shock absorbers in the system are fully serviceable, rebuildable, and re-tunable.

Key specifications

• Tire fitment: Up to 35" x 12.50" (minor fender trimming or modifications may be required).
• Recommended wheel offsets: Approximately 25 mm offset for recommended aftermarket wheel sizes.

• OEM wheels and tires retain fitment.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes include 17x8.5 (5.75" backspace) and 18x9 (6" backspace) with ~25 mm offset.
• Shocks are fully serviceable; all indicated lift heights are based on a stock equipped vehicle.
• Advertised lift height ranges assume a stock vehicle; added vehicle weight from accessories will alter lift range.
• Most Sequoia submodels (non-TRD Off-Road/Non-TRD Pro) will have approximately 3–4.5" of front lift and 4" of rear lift over stock. Sequoia models with the TRD Off‑Road package or TRD Pro will typically see approximately 1–2.5" front lift and 2" rear lift.
• Not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles.
• Not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load‑Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• For 4WD models without the TRD Off‑Road package, ICON recommends using the ICON Diff Drop (Part #55156) or using Toyota TRD axles; failure to address front driveshaft geometry may result in front axle damage. This Diff Drop is not required for TRD Pro models.
• If the vehicle is equipped with the TRD aluminum skid plate, ICON Part #55164 is also required.
