ICON Stage 8 Suspension System for 2003–2009 Lexus GX470

The Stage 8 suspension system is a bolt-on upgrade engineered to improve on- and off-road performance for the GX470. It combines vehicle-specific tuned extended-travel coilover shocks with adjustable compression damping, remote reservoirs for improved cooling, and purpose-built coil springs and billet aluminum suspension links to increase wheel travel, refine ride quality, and allow use of larger wheel and tire combinations.

• Vehicle-specific tuned 2.5 Series extended-travel coilover shocks with remote reservoirs for enhanced cooling and performance.
• CDC (Compression Damping Control) valve allows quick, tool-free compression damping adjustment for optimal ride across terrain and cargo configurations.
• Height adjustable coilovers provide 0–3.5" of lift to accommodate larger wheels and tires.
• ICON-engineered coil springs deliver improved vehicle feel and control through the full range of travel.
• Billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms increase wheel travel, allow on-vehicle alignment adjustment, and use a sealed, greaseable high-angle joint for durability and noise-free operation.
• 2" lift rear coil springs paired with 2.5 Omega bypass remote reservoir rear shocks featuring aggressive bump zones plus compression and rebound adjustment.
• Billet aluminum upper and lower rear links provide increased strength, improved articulation, and on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment while optimizing roll-steer geometry for predictable handling.
• Adjustable rear track bar corrects rear axle alignment and supports KDSS compatibility.
• Omega Series two-tube bypass rear shocks allow tool-free compression and rebound damping adjustment.
• 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, CNC-machined components and corrosion-resistant coated shock bodies with 7/8" shafts.
• Rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection.
• Included rear coil conversion kit eliminates the factory rear air bag system on GX470 platforms.
• Bolt-on installation requires no cutting or welding.

• Factory wheels and tires fitment: Yes.
• Recommended aftermarket wheels: 17x8.5" with 4.75" backspace / 0mm offset; 18x9" with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset; 20x9" with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset.
• Recommended aftermarket tires: 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications will be required).
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles.
• Suspension system compatible with KDSS. Front sway bar relocation brackets are not used for KDSS-equipped vehicles. Certain years require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment.
• 700 lb coil spring available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• KDSS-equipped vehicles require rear track bar 54200.
