ICON Stage 6 Suspension System — 2003–2009 Lexus GX470

The ICON Stage 6 suspension system for the 2003–2009 Lexus GX470 pairs vehicle-specific extended-travel 2.5" coilover shocks with remote reservoirs and tubular steel Delta Joint upper control arms to deliver improved heat dissipation, extended wheel travel, and corrected suspension geometry. The coilovers are height adjustable from 0–3.5" of lift to accommodate larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The rear uses ICON 2" lift coil springs matched to 2.5" Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks with vehicle-specific valving for balanced front-to-rear performance. Tubular steel rear upper and lower links provide increased strength, low-maintenance multi-durometer bushings, and pinion angle adjustment. An adjustable rear track bar ensures proper rear axle alignment and KDSS compatibility. A rear coil spring conversion kit is included for GX470 models to eliminate the factory rear airbags.

The system features ICON's patented Delta Joint — a heavy-duty, high-angle joint that combines the durability and weather resistance of a ball joint with the articulation characteristics of a uniball. The Delta Joint uses a zinc-plated housing, a durable grease seal, metal-on-metal construction, and a greaseable design to increase longevity while maintaining quiet, reliable operation.

• Recommended aftermarket wheels: ICON Alloys — 17x8.5" (4.75" backspace / 0mm offset), 18x9" (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset), 20x9" (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset).
• Recommended tires: 33" x 11.50" (larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications may be required).
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with some aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles.
• System is compatible with KDSS; front sway bar relocation brackets are not used for KDSS-equipped vehicles. Certain model years require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment.
• 700 lb coil spring available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• KDSS-equipped vehicles require rear track bar part number 54200.
