ICON Stage 5 Suspension System — 2003–2009 GX470

The Stage 5 system features vehicle-specific, extended-travel 2.5" coilover shocks with remote reservoirs paired with billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms. The package provides improved heat dissipation, increased wheel travel, on-vehicle upper control arm adjustment for front-end alignment, and 0–3.5" of height adjustment over stock to accommodate larger wheel and tire combinations. ICON 2" lift rear coil springs and 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks with vehicle-specific valving balance front and rear performance. Billet aluminum lower links increase strength, improve articulation, and allow on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment while maintaining proper roll steer geometry. A rear coil spring conversion kit is included to eliminate the factory rear air bags for GX470 platforms.

• Increased wheel travel: Extended-travel 2.5" coilovers and ICON upper control arms allow greater articulation and improved ride quality over stock.
• Adjustable lift: Coilovers provide 0–3.5" of lift over stock to support larger, more aggressive tires.
• Delta Joint upper control arms: Patented Delta Joint combines the durability and weather resistance of a ball joint with the articulation and performance of a uniball (zinc-plated housing, grease seal, greaseable design for quiet, long-lasting operation).
• Rear suspension: 2" lift rear coil springs and 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks with vehicle-specific valving; includes rear coil conversion kit to eliminate factory air system.
• Billet lower links: 6061 aircraft-grade CNC-machined aluminum lower links provide increased strength, improved geometry, and on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment.
• Quality construction: 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components, corrosion-resistant CAD-plated coilover shock bodies, and 7/8" shock shafts.
• Hardware: FK rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection; shocks are fully serviceable.
• Installation: Bolt-on system — no cutting or welding necessary (some models may require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment).

• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles.
• Suspension system compatible with KDSS. Front sway bar relocation brackets are not used for KDSS-equipped vehicles. Certain years require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment.
• 700 lb coil spring available for heavier-equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• KDSS-equipped vehicles require rear track bar 54200.
