ICON Stage 4 Suspension — Lexus GX470 (2003–2009)

The Stage 4 suspension system for the 2003–2009 Lexus GX470 combines extended-travel, vehicle-specific coilovers and tubular upper control arms to deliver increased wheel travel, corrected suspension geometry and improved on- and off-road performance. Coilovers are height adjustable from 0–3.5" of lift, and the system includes a rear coil spring conversion kit to eliminate the factory rear air bags for GX470 models.

• Extended travel coilovers: 2.5" coilover shocks with internal reservoirs, tuned for vehicle-specific damping and control.
• Height adjustable: Coilovers provide 0–3.5" of lift over stock to accommodate larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations.
• Delta Joint upper control arms: Heavy-duty high-angle joint that combines ball-joint durability with uniball-style articulation; zinc-plated housing and grease seal for corrosion resistance and long life.
• Rear shocks: 2.5" remote-reservoir rear shocks with vehicle-specific valving and 7/8" shafts for improved performance and heat management.
• Rear lower links: Tubular steel design stronger than OE, with multi-durometer bushings and adjustability for optimum pinion angle and corrected roll-steer geometry.
• Rear coil conversion kit: Included for GX470 platforms to eliminate factory air springs and simplify rear suspension.
• Bolt-on installation: No cutting or welding required for install.

• Factory wheels and tires fitment: Yes.
• Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes and offsets: 17x8.5" with 4.75" backspace / 0mm offset; 18x9" with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset; 20x9" with 5.00" backspace / 0mm offset.
• Recommended tire size: 33" x 11.50". Larger tires may fit but will likely require fender trimming and other modifications.
• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with some aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles; verify clearances before installation.
• Suspension system is compatible with KDSS. Front sway bar relocation brackets are not used for KDSS-equipped vehicles; certain years may require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment.
• A heavier-duty 700 lb rear coil spring option is available for more heavily equipped vehicles.
• Shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
• KDSS-equipped vehicles require a compatible rear track bar for proper rear axle location.
