ICON Stage 3 Suspension System — 2003–2009 Lexus GX470

The Stage 3 suspension system pairs vehicle-specific, extended-travel 2.5" coilover shocks with internal reservoirs and tubular steel Delta Joint upper control arms to deliver increased wheel travel, improved alignment geometry, and precise handling. Coilovers are height-adjustable from 0–3.5" over stock to accommodate larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The rear system uses 2" lift coil springs and 2.0 Aluminum Series internal-reservoir shocks with vehicle-specific valving to balance performance front-to-rear. Tubular steel rear lower links provide greater strength than OE units, feature low-maintenance multi-durometer bushings, and allow pinion-angle adjustment for optimal driveline geometry. For GX470 platforms, a rear coil spring conversion kit is included to eliminate the factory rear air springs.

The system features ICON's patented Delta Joint upper control arms. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint that combines the durability and weather resistance of a ball joint with the articulation performance of a uniball. A zinc-plated housing and grease seal protect the internal components, and the metal-on-metal, greaseable design increases longevity while maintaining quiet operation and high angularity.

• Remote reservoir mounting brackets may interfere with some aftermarket bumper mounts or windshield washer bottles
• System compatible with KDSS; front sway bar relocation brackets are not used for KDSS-equipped vehicles; certain model years may require trimming for front reservoir bracket fitment
• Higher-rate coil springs (700 lb) are available for more heavily equipped vehicles
• Shocks are fully serviceable; coilover heights listed are for a stock-equipped vehicle
