ICON RXT Rear Suspension System

The ICON RXT Rear Suspension System is designed for the 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma to improve rear suspension performance for high-speed desert running, trail use, and overland expeditions. Developed through extensive testing, the system increases wheel travel, offers adjustable spring rates, and integrates hydraulic rear bump stops for improved control and ride quality.

What's included

• Multi-rate leaf spring with 3 user-adjustable spring rates to match varying vehicle setups and loads.
• All-new 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks available in three options, with corrosion-resistant one-piece impact-extruded aluminum bodies and 7/8" shafts.
• Hydraulic rear bump stop kit with 2.5" travel and position-sensitive technology for progressive bottom-out resistance.

• CDC Valve technology on shocks provides 10 settings for quick compression damping adjustment.
• 10" aluminum reservoirs for consistent damping as shock temperature increases.

• Direct bolt-in bump stops to OEM locations for straightforward installation.
• Heavy-duty construction including a 1 1/4" CNC-machined nitro steel shaft and multi-stage CAD-plated body for corrosion resistance.
• Double-sealed high-pressure Schrader valve with an operating range of 50–250 PSI; bump stops are serviceable and include a replaceable noise-reducing striker pad.
• Durable leaf spring components including a military-wrap front eyelet for increased longevity.

Fitment & wheel/tire guidance

• Vehicle fitment: 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma.
• Rear lift range: Typical rear lift ranges from approximately 1.875"–2.625" depending on rear spring configuration and vehicle rear weight; certain TRD Pro models typically see 1.375"–2.125" of rear lift depending on configuration.
• Wheels: Aftermarket wheel backspace/offset recommendations include 17x8.5, 18x9, and 20x9 with ~0mm offset.
• Tires: Fits up to 33" x 11.50" tires. Larger tires may require fender trimming or other modifications.
• OEM wheels & tires: OEM wheel and tire fitment is maintained in many configurations.

Installation & service

• Stand-alone system: Designed as a complete system; combining with other manufacturer components may prevent achieving advertised wheel travel.
• Coilover heights: Indicated heights are based on a stock-equipped vehicle.
• Shocks and bump stops: Fully serviceable for rebuilds and tuning.

• Installation of the complete system is required to attain advertised wheel travel; use of other manufacturers' components may not provide advertised wheel travel and could cause damage.
• Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation.
• Will not fit 2WD Tacoma models with 5-lug wheel studs.
