ICON Stage 4 Suspension System — 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner / 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser

ICON’s Stage 4 suspension system significantly improves on- and off-road performance. This kit builds on the Stage 3 components—extended travel 2.5 Series coilover shocks, an ICON tubular Delta Joint upper control arm kit, 2" rear coil springs, and a tubular rear lower link arm kit—and adds 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks for balanced damping front to rear.

The remote reservoir design increases shock oil volume and improves cooling to reduce fade during extended use. ICON’s Bump Zone technology increases damping in the last 2" of compression travel to prevent harsh bottom-out and deliver a more controlled ride over varied terrain. ICON’s tubular steel lower links are stronger than OE units, use a low-maintenance multi-durometer bushing, and are adjustable for optimum pinion angle while providing correct roll steer geometry for improved handling.

The system features ICON’s patented Delta Joint upper control arms. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty, high-angle joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the articulation of a uniball. A zinc-plated housing and a robust grease seal protect the joint from the elements. Metal-on-metal construction and a greaseable design increase longevity and enable quiet operation, while offering greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
