ICON Stage 4 Suspension System — 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner / 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser

The ICON Stage 4 suspension system significantly improves on- and off-road performance for the specified Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser model years. This system builds on the Stage 3 components — extended travel 2.5 Series coilover shocks, ICON billet aluminum upper control arms, 2" rear coil springs, and billet aluminum rear lower link arms — and adds 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks for balanced damping front to rear. The remote reservoir design increases shock oil volume and cooling to reduce fade during extended use, and ICON’s Bump Zone technology increases damping in the last 2" of compression to prevent harsh bottom-out and improve ride control over varying terrain.

The system features ICON upper control arms with the patented Delta Joint: a heavy-duty, high-angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the articulation of a uniball. The Delta Joint includes a zinc-plated housing and a grease seal for corrosion resistance and element protection, metal-on-metal construction and a greaseable design for longevity and quiet operation, and greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
